VIGILO® uses a high-quality 316 Low Carbon surgical Grade stainless steel for the L20 & 60S collection. This material is used on the case. The L20 collection uses high end materials such as high quality silicone band. Other watch parts – crown, case back and buckle – are also made of 316 Low Carbon surgical Grade stainless steel with a brushed or sandblast finishing. The hands and indices are made of brass, with a brushed or sandblasted finish.

The L20 collection uses a Swiss made Ronda 585 Quartz Movement.

The 60S collection uses a Swiss made Ronda 762 Quartz Movement.

Rotate crown in the opposite way of Clockwise.
Pull out the crown in position 1
Rotate crown to set the right time
Pull back the crown in position 0
Rotate crown in the Clockwise to lock it.

WATER RESISTANCY

Water resistance of watches is rated based on laboratory pressure tests comparable to a swimmer or diver sitting still at that pressure level. However, many water-based activities involve a lot of movement and other environmental changes. These exceptions to how the watch was rated may challenge or defeat the water protection features of a water-resistant watch.

The water resistance of a watch cannot permanently be guaranteed. It may be affected by ageing of gaskets or by accidental shock to the crown. The water resistance level of your VIGILO® watch is indicated on its caseback.

For the L20 we offer a 20 ATM water resistancy:

Your watch is suitable for swimming, high-impact water sports and scuba diving.
After salt water use, rinse watch under tap water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.

For the 60S we offer a 3 ATM water resistancy:

Your watch is protected from splashes such as rain, must not be immersed in water, and must not be used in swimming or sauna.

Also, never activate the time-setting crown and/or the pushers while the watch is under water and make sure that the crown has been pushed/screwed down tightly after every operation. And, do not under any circumstances open the watch yourself; arrange to get it inspected by an authorized VIGILO Service Center only.

PRECAUTIONS AND PREVENTIVE MEASURES

TEMPERATURE & SHOCKS: Avoid thermal or other shocks as it may harm your watch. Do not expose your watch to sudden temperature changes (exposure to sunlight followed by immersion in cold water) or extreme temperatures [over 60°C (140°F) or below 0°C (32°F)]. While your watch is water proof, it is not recommended to shower or wash dishes with it as it can result in a sudden change of temperature.

MAGNETIC FIELDS: Do not expose your watch to intense magnetic fields such as loudspeakers, portable telephones, computers or refrigerators and other electromagnetic appliances.

HARMFUL PRODUCTS: Avoid direct contact with solvents, detergents, and perfumes, cosmetic products etc., since they may damage the bracelet, the case and/or the gaskets.

CARE: Clean the case and bracelet regularly using a soft cloth to prevent any corrosion caused by perspiration. All water-resistant watches can be cleaned with a toothbrush and soapy water, and then dried with a soft cloth. After being worn in the sea, the watch must be rinsed with warm fresh water and then dried completely.

LIMITED WARRANTY:

Your VIGILO® watch is warranted by VIGILO Watches for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this warranty. The international VIGILO warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of the purchase of the VIGILO® watch ("defects"). The warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is dated, fully and correctly completed and stamped by an official VIGILO dealer** ("valid warranty certificate").

During the warranty period and by presenting the valid warranty certificate, you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. In the event that repairs are improper to restore the normal conditions of use of your VIGILO® watch, or if you purchased a VIGILO® watch the case of which cannot be opened, VIGILO Watches guarantees its replacement by a VIGILO® watch of similar model. The warranty for the replacement watch ends twelve (12) months after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.

This manufacturer’s warranty does not cover:

The life of the battery;

Normal wear and tear and aging (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration of the colour and/or material of non metallic straps and chains, such as leather, plastic, textile, velcro; peeling of the plating);

Any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/ abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), incorrect use of the watch and non-observance of the use directions provided by VIGILO Watches.;

Indirect or consequential damages of any kind resulting from e.g. the use, the non-functioning, the defects or the inaccuracy of the VIGILO® watch;

The VIGILO® watch handled by non-authorized persons (e.g. for battery replacement, services or repairs) or which undergoes alterations in its original condition beyond VIGILO Watches’s control. Any further claim against VIGILO Watches l e.g. for damages additional to the above described guarantee is expressly excluded, except mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have against the manufacturer.

All applicable implied warranties, including the implied warranty of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose given to you by law are hereby limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Under no Circumstances will VIGILO Watches be liable for any indirect or consequential damages of any kind.

The above manufacturer’s warranty:

Is independent of any warranty that may be provided by the seller, for which he carries sole responsibility.

Does not affect the purchaser’s rights against the seller nor any other mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have.

The VIGILO Service Center ensures the perfect maintenance of your VIGILO® watch. If your watch needs attention, rely on a VIGILO official dealer or an authorized VIGILO Service Center as set forth in the enclosed list: They can guarantee a service according to VIGILO Watches’s standards.
